OUR HISTORY
Hostal Ya was opened in 1996 by Ernesto and Julita. The conception of this idea dates back to the 1970s, when the couple collaborated with their parents, brothers and sisters-in-law in a family business on Calle Nuncio. In that establishment, they had a small bar and two guest rooms, and they provided food and shelter to the day labourers who came to work in the Vinalopó Valley.
Eventually, Ernesto and Julita, after embarking on a new project, the Ya Restaurant, acquired the whole of an old factory. From this acquisition, the hostal was built with the same purpose and values that have always guided the couple: to make visitors to Aspe feel at home, provide customer service and dedication to service. These fundamental principles have endured over time.
Hostal Ya is now a second-generation business in which Julita and Ernesto’s children are leading the project. Despite the transformation of the installations, the fundamental values remain intact, with the main objective of offering any visitor to the Vinalopó Valley a pleasant experience both in their stay and in its gastronomy.
